To inaugurate the new location of Gourmet Garage, Director John Woodward mounted an epicurean themed exhibition with acclaimed Artists Margaret Morrison, JMR and Deborah Claxton this October.

Artist Margaret Morrison is a professor of Art living and working in Athens, Georgia. Her paintings incorporate figurative elements as well as surreal subjects and still life images. The impressive work on view are from her hyperrealistic Larger Than Life series.

Deborah Claxton creates collages using the spectrum of Coloraid paper. She hand cuts thousands of bits of paper to illustrate vibrant floral images. The work on view are Claxton’s limited edition giclee prints of these incredible originals.

JMR’s food paintings have roots in Abstract Expressionism, yet favor a Neo Contemporary flare. He is known for his flowing lines of color. JMR has presented his work throughout the world as large-scale murals.
