Margaret Morrison

AMERICAN REALIST AND SURREALIST PAINTER

Margaret Morrison has been represented by Woodward Gallery since 1995. Currently this year, Morrison has a solo exhibition of her Paradigm Shift series at the UGA, Performing Arts Center in Athens, Georgia. She is highlighted in a group exhibition with Ed Ruscha, Andy Warhol, Richard Hambleton, David Hockney and others in Eyes on the Road: Art of the Automotive Landscape at the Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, CA.  Sotheby’s NY premiered Morrison in their Contemporary Discoveries auction this past March with a sale result three times its estimate!

In addition to decades of successful solo exhibitions at Woodward Gallery, NYC, Morrison’s figurative, still life and surreal paintings have been featured alongside American Masters, and widely published in prominent Art publications as well as the New York Times. National and international museums and art institutions have hosted exhibitions with Morrison’s art:
