Artist Deborah Claxton expertly applies hand-cut paper pieces in unique collage format creating full color images. A recent review with the Baltimore Sun revealed how she painstakingly cuts and attaches brightly colored pieces of paper to create pictures that are striking and unusual.
Claxton’s work will be on view in Woodward Gallery’s Paper Invitational III group exhibition including works on paper by Artists: Bill Anastasi, Hugo Bastidas, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Paul Benney, Susan Breen, Deborah Claxton, Alex Defluvia, M.C.
