November 29, 2001 – January 26, 2002
Woodward Gallery Artists created works in their individual styles to address their complex thoughts and emotions of the September 11th tragedy.
Director John Woodward encouraged the exhibit to offer a group statement of the event and invited each artist to produce something as an inspiration to regain focus after having been emotionally affected by the horrific events.
The exhibition challenges and supports our personal feelings uniting the public through art.
10% of the proceeds will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund. This charity was organized after the event to specifically meet the needs of the lower income and impoverished families affected by September 11th. The Robin Hood Relief Fund will offer support to the NYC firefighters, police officers and rescue workers as well.
