Wishing you a wonderful New Year filled with health, joy, peace —and ART! Woodward Gallery is celebrating our 30th Anniversary year in 2024 as a New York City art institution!
When we entered the gallery business three decades ago, we simply wanted to make art accessible to everyone. Our mission has always been to promote strong aesthetics and art education in a welcoming environment. Woodward Gallery has been involved in advancing artists’ careers, magazine and book publications, an artist documentary film, television appearances, museum exhibitions, art presentations in alternative spaces, public art mural projects, auctions, and many, many Gallery exhibitions. (See Timeline).
Since 1994, the artworld has changed radically. Physical galleries have relocated to online, virtual spaces. Art images, once shared by stamped mailings, are now replaced by instant, digital, and paperless announcements. Through the rapid advancement of the internet, art has become far more easily accessible for all to enjoy! Folks seeking soulful, cultural fulfillment can now be enriched by experiencing art in new ways— the artworld has no boundaries! Discovery awaits as we continue to stay committed to the hands-on method of creating art and to evolve Woodward Gallery with the times.
